Turkey Barley Soup

2 cans (14-1/2 oz.) chicken broth
4 c. cubed cooked turkey
2 carrots, sliced
1 large potato, peeled & cubed
2 c. frozen cut gr. beans
1 med. pepper, chopped
1 celery rib, chopped
3 garlic cloves
1/2 c. barley
2 Bay leaves
1 tsp. thyme, sage
1/4 tsp. salt

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil.  Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 45-55 min. until barley & veg. are tender.  Discad bay leaves.

May be frozen up to 3 mo.
