Ethel Klicker's Cheese Casserole

10 slices bread - cut off crusts; butter, cube
3/4 lb. sharp cheese, chipped or grated

Arrange in greased casserole in alternate layers, ending with cheese.

Beat together:

3 eggs
2-1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. garlic salt

Pour over bread & cheese mixture.

Cover & put in refrigerator overnight.  Before baking, let stand at room temp., then bake in pan of hot water 1-1/4 hr. in 350 d. F oven.
